powerful CueMix DSP engine.
Using CueMix with Sound Manager (Mac OS 9
only)
To e na bl e Cu eM ix DSP for a host application that is
using the MOTU FireWire Sound Manager driver:
1 Open the Sound Control Panel, click the Input
tab, and check the Play sound through output device
option. Alternately, you can use the CueMix
Console (described in chapter 13, CueMix
Console (page 97)) to manually patch a live input
to an output.

Controlling CueMix DSP from within Cubase or
Nuendo
To t u r n o n CueMix in Cubase VST, enable the ASIO
Direct Monitor check box in the Monitoring section
of the Audio System Setup window (Figure 11-3 on
page 82). In Cubase SX or Nuendo, enable the
Direct Monitoring check box in the Device Setup
VST Multitrack tab (Figure 12-4 on page 92).
Other ASIO 2.0-compatible host software
If your ASIO-compatible host audio software
supports ASIO’s direct monitoring feature, consult
your software documentation to learn how to
enable this feature. Once enabled, it should work
similarly as described for Cubase (as explained in
the previous section).
